James Taylor commented on SQOOP-2649:
-------------------------------------
Thanks, [[email protected]]. Question for [~venkatnrangan], [~jarcec],
and the rest of the Sqoop community: the current HBase version Sqoop 1.4.6
relies on is HBase-0.95 which isn't supported (nor is it in any vendor distro).
Are you open to that being upgraded to HBase 0.98 as that would allow Phoenix
to be used plus get you on top of a supported release. Do folks out in the wild
use Sqoop with HBase, or are we just going down a dead end here? Please let us
know, as I'd hate to see Ravi continue to spend time on this if that's the case.
