Releasing a 1.0 version would mean from my point of view:

* Well tested source base
* Significance evolution regarding features and/or performance
* An opportunity to break backwards compatibility (like the evolution
  of FISE)
* Documentation about the transition
* Ability of doing binary releases (right now there is not even a
  working WAR launcher, see STANBOL-1190)

And the current trunk lacks many of these things... so I think it's a bit hasty to thing about 1.0.
