ASF GitHub Bot commented on STORM-208:
--------------------------------------
Github user d2r commented on the pull request:
https://github.com/apache/incubator-storm/pull/65#issuecomment-40847212
Built and ran tests in OSX and linux, from top level and from
external/storm-kafka, and everything passes.
When I package it up, I do not see where the kafka classes are being
included. How is the packaging done?
> Add storm-kafka as a module

> Key: STORM-208

> Project: Apache Storm (Incubating)
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Reporter: P. Taylor Goetz
>
> Current repo is storm-contrib: https://github.com/nathanmarz/storm-contrib
> storm-kafka is still part of storm-contrib, but we can extract it to a
> separate git repo using the technique described here:
> Similar techniques can be used to incorporate it and it's commit history into
> a parent project like the apache/incubator-storm repo.
