ASF GitHub Bot commented on STORM-208:
--------------------------------------
Github user d2r commented on the pull request:
https://github.com/apache/incubator-storm/pull/65#issuecomment-40936408
> I was thinking binary, source, and javadoc jars, as well as the README.
That sounds reasonable to me,
* Binary from Maven as its own artifact with binary, source, javadoc jars
* Binary from the apache site for convenience with the above plus a README
* Source from the normal storm source distribution, as it is now
Is that right?
> Add storm-kafka as a module

> Key: STORM-208

> Project: Apache Storm (Incubating)
> Issue Type: Sub-task

>
> Current repo is storm-contrib: https://github.com/nathanmarz/storm-contrib
> storm-kafka is still part of storm-contrib, but we can extract it to a
> separate git repo using the technique described here:
> Similar techniques can be used to incorporate it and it's commit history into
> a parent project like the apache/incubator-storm repo.
