It would be nice if we could encourage people to login. Not so much so we can watchdog 
people. But so we know who deserves the kudos. :)

There are any number of reasons why we might want to interact with wiki editors. But 
without a logon, we have no idea who's helping us out. :)

The account creation process is painless. (Try it and see!) I doubt that it would 
discourage participation.
