It's just that I don't have a lot of time right now to try and get IDEA or Jalopy to match our CheckStyle setup. If CheckStyle is going to be held up as the arbitrator of coding style, it would be nice if a code reformatter could reach the CheckStyle configuration directly.
If anyone would like to volunteer to try and match IDEA's configuration with our CheckStyle file, that would be very helpful. I made some changes against the IDEA defaults, but apparently they are not quite right. I'd like to reduce the coding inconsistencies, but I don't want to introduce a lot of manual changes right before a release.
