While we resolve the issues[1] involved in creating an automated Maven build for S2, I'd like to push forward and tag STRUTS_2_0_0.
AFAIK, the API is stable. We just need to mop up some infrastructure issues. Tagging a revision will give early adopters a base starting point, especially since we do not have reliable nightly builds yet. I've fabricated a reasonable facsimile of a distribution * http://people.apache.org/builds/struts/2.0.x/ The distribution not perfect, since it lacks a snapshot of the documentation and the Struts2/Xwork2 apidocs are not integrated, but I believe, as a tagged build, it is still useful, especially since we continue to have troubles with the nightly builds. If we can get the usual majority consensus (3 +1s, more +1s than -1s), I'll tag and roll the trunk, and we can continue development with 2.0.1. Here's my +1 for tagging the Struts 2 trunk for STRUTS_2_0_0 as an "early adopters" build. -Ted.
