Ioan, about (1) I might have been unclear: the way you made it right now is
fine, I was only proposing to rename {{deb-packaging}} to {{deb}} and to make
{{deb/pom.xml}} to inherit from root {{pom.xml}}.
For (3) you should take a look at the way how other modules are doing.
