*Aha.* Trying to build tephra-hbase-compat-1.1-base fails in the very same way:
Duplicate Classes.
My maven version is Apache Maven 3.6.1.
I'll file a Jira for both issues (fix the 1.1 build and add 1.5 test), but I
cannot promise that I will to fixing this. Perhaps you could have a quick look
and see whether tephra-hbase-compat-1.1-base builds (with tests) for you.
