If you can demonstrate how switching to Maven will be better, then I am all ears. So far Maven just looks different rather than better with the disadvantage (for me at least) that Maven is unfamiliar whereas Ant is familiar. You are, of course, free to take a look at this. It might be more productive to try and make the case for Maven before doing that work.
