Awesome initiative.
FYI, I saw today a PR from David Heffelfinger that also involves the usage
of Diamon operator.

As David B. mentioned above, in this scenario is highly possible that two
people are working in the task.

If David's H. PR already include the work you are describing in TOMEE-2314,
my recommendations are:
 * You can switch from Development to QA ;) and review  David's H. PR and
provide feedback.
 *  To avoid more duplication, the PR title can be updated to include the
ticket number TOMEE-2314.
 * Ping David H. using this list and you two can divide an conquer. Ivan
did a similar Job by creating an Umbrella task for the Microprofile
examples, and now more people are creating a subtask ticket that enables
visibility and prevent duplication.
