Hi Philipp,

to give tcsh the justice it deserves, the comparison should rather
be between being able to choose freetype (every buggy version) 
or, lets say, AGG for font rasterization. I believe we want to
support every other buggy version of bash... ;)

For quite a few prerequisites, that's effectively the case already 
(java is a case in point I guess). :/
