I'm leaving the vote open for a bit in the hope of getting some more reviews
comments.

The fix in trunk for T2498 has not yet been applied to the 1.3 branch though
from [1] its probably ok to do that now. It wasn't clear if the problem
building binding-ws-axis2 described in that other thread you reference
happens in the 1.3 branch, i'd guess it probably does, and there is no fix
yet in trunk for it.

Building the tag is just one part of the release so would be nice to get
some more reviews before respining an RC3 in case there are other issues
considered as blocking problems.
