We're really good at answering questions on the user list quickly which provides great support for our users but I wonder if we should slow down a bit to give others a chance to answer? There's a lot of people subscribed to the user list who probably could answer some of the questions given half a chance, but as the active developers often answer quickly they don't get that opportunity. Answering user questions is one of the ways people can start getting more involved in the project so if we allow them this possibility it may help grow the developer community. Or maybe it will just irritate our users :) what do you think? Should we try for a while, say not answering questions till they're a couple of days old to see if others will?
