Ant,
Interesting to see that you think we answer questions from users too quickly
;-)
Are you sure that this is really the case? Some things seem to take quite a while to receive a
response, while some are indeed answered quickly.
I'm not sure that delaying responses deliberately will actually help folks that much. I would
expect that Tuscany developers would probably not answer a seemingly "simple" question that fast,
but if it is complex and it is in their area of expertise, it seems only natural to respond as soon
as they are able.
Yours, Mike.

We're really good at answering questions on the user list quickly which
provides great support for our users but I wonder if we should slow down
a bit to give others a chance to answer? There's a lot of people
subscribed to the user list who probably could answer some of the
questions given half a chance, but as the active developers often answer
quickly they don't get that opportunity. Answering user questions is one
of the ways people can start getting more involved in the project so if
we allow them this possibility it may help grow the developer community.
Or maybe it will just irritate our users :) what do you think? Should we
try for a while, say not answering questions till they're a couple of
days old to see if others will?
