The current Developer's Guide talks still about /applicat.rdb/.
Please file an issue to Juergen Schmidt for this.
The "services.rdb" is for UNO service registration.
The "types.rdb" is the UNO type repository.
So, if you want to register services by hand (e.g. with regcomp),
register them into the "services.rdb". If you want to add types, merge
them into "types.rdb".

Hi Adriano,
in the Developer's Guide, the main component's registry file is
/applicat.rdb/. My OOo installation have this registry:
/services.rdb/, /setup_services.rdb/, /types.rdb/.
How is the correct match ?
sound like you have an old DevelopersGuide ;-)
What you registered formerly in the applicat.rdb you could now
register in the types.rdb ... BUT there is a more convenient way to
register your component in the office by using pkgck (OOo1.1.x) or
unopkg (OOo1.9.x).
The page
http://api.openoffice.org/docs/DevelopersGuide/Components/Components.htm
might contain further interesting and more detailed information for you.
Hope that helps

Stephan
