hmm, with my cmd shell, I need to quote the slashes like this
set URE_BOOTSTRAP=vnd.sun.star.pathname:C:\\Program
Files\\OpenOffice.org 3\\program\\fundamental.ini
to get it to work.
I guess it is <http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95022>
"URE_BOOTSTRAP=vnd.sun.star.pathname fails for \ or $ in path" instead
of your shell that makes it appear to work if you double the backslashes.
