Other than the two issues noted above, the RC looks pretty good. I compared the SVN tag vs the source-release - looks OK.
I built from the source-release, after clearing my local .m2 repo of previous textmarker artifacts - OK. I checked the licenses/notices in a bunch of places (found previously reported issue).
