Marshall Schor commented on UIMA-6228:
--------------------------------------

No need to rebuild the composite site, unless you're changing the number /
names of the subsites.  The composite site only has refs to the top of the
subsite.  The build for the subsite is part of the build tools, here in svn:

It's readme says, in part:

How to maintain the UIMA Eclipse update site

The Eclipse update site is a composite update site. The top level has subsites
for
 - uimaj sdk
 - ruta
 - uima-as

The composite update site only needs maintenance if the number of subsites
changes. Normally this is not the case.
See the uima-eclipse-composite-update-site project's
"buildCompositeRepository.xml" for details.

> To reduce the load on the ASF mirrors, projects are required to delete old
> releases [1]
> Please can you remove all non-current releases?
> It's unfair to expect the volunteer 3rd party mirrors to give up more disk
> space than is necessary.
> Thanks!
> Note: old releases can still be mentioned on the download page if the links
> are changed to point to the archive server.
