Hi,
I'll be short now :D
Thanks for your reply Miika (both of them). Well, the design started a bit to live it it's own life as another proposal, that's why I was a bit hesistant. But your points are sensible, and take them into account when I do my last update before I'm taking a week off. All of your input is always greatly appreciated, and a critical eye can always makes the end result better! You're points are really valid points and thus valuable to me.

Let's collaborate and let's not restart the whole prototype design discussion again. I believe we're not far from finalising things. But if this group is so divided on this issue...
Oh, I forgot this part from my previous post.
Yes, that's definitely wise not to start everything from the beginning again. I maybe had some difficulties on explaining why I made a design of my own... One of the reasons was, of course, that I didn't exactly know where you're going. I just looked at the mailing lists and saw a whole bunch of proposals there and thought, why not make my own?
It is not a question of "This design replaces your current proposal because it's better". Not at all. Why it is there is that you can take some certain things from it, in case you need any new ideas at this point. I thought that when a project member sees a bit different kind of design (heavily based on the project's current official one) he may realize that some certain aspects could be done another way. Maybe that'll help your work on the current design prototype (sc40).
Going back to my design, I think it's a bit too crowded. There is too much stuff on the homepage now. As I said, it's not perfect.
