I changed the subject to show that I think we should be arguing about
process, rather than shades of colour.

If there is one thing that we should have learnt from the last few months,
it is that there need to be clear, public, and if possible agreed
processes for getting changes made to the web site.

As I understand the constitution, making decisions or approving them is a matter for project members,
rather than merely subscribers to the list. So I think it might be helpful
to work out who among the active participants in these discussions are in
fact members of the web site project -- there are a great many listed on
the site, and most of them are people I have never come across.


But once we know who among the active participants are project members and at what level it should be possible to come up with some guidelines for change.
