Rovaniemi is such an international town that I'm not surprised many have been here. Did you know that the number of inhabitants (30 000 on the area roughly) gets doubled during the Christmas season? Mostly Japanese.
We don't live in the middle of nowhere, it's a living place with lots of entrepreneurs, industry, barbers in every corner and hi-tech.
