I just joined the website-project and this mailing-list.
I've been reading through the project's page and the issue tracker about several hours and I checked out the CVS repository.
But my problem still is that I've absolutely no idea where to start contributing something, the TODO-list seems to be outdated.
So maybe I should first give you some information about myself, my name is Franz, also known as Frando, and I'm living in Germany (maybe this is the right time to say sorry for my sureley improvable English).
Webdesign is a hobby of mine for several years, mostly small projects or never-released stuff. But all this practice has increased my XHTML skill to a IMO acceptable niveau, all my code is proper XHTML 1.0. CSS is used for all design-related elements.
For designing purposes I normally use Adobe Photoshop.
So - I read a lot about a website redesign on the project's page, what's the the state of affairs?
I saw the redesigned top-nav-bars in the CVS repository, is such stuff still needed?
What else has or could be done?
