I think at this point most of the work has been done and is just vote and support the new design. (which I dont have it handy at this moment)
If you are skilfull in creating graphics and manipulating images another project that is actively looking for colaboration is the Art project which also has a very well explained ToDo list. You can collaborate on: Web Design: - Banners - Themes (mambo, drupal) Print Design - Business Cards, Flyers - CD Covers - Box Cover Desktop Design: - OpenClipArt - WallPapers - Icons - Splash Screens Also more artistic one, would be the challenge to re-design Otto as an artistic challenge or animations on Blender or Flash.
