Not to say that the old one is bad either. Can I suggest changes to the wording?
As you see it currently has "Download download openoffice.org". Also, the users already know that they're about to download OpenOffice.org, so I suggest this: >> download Stable release (1.1.4) Or: Download beta release (1.9+) | Get on CD >> Notice the text under "download" has a capital. I suggest avoiding "OOo" for now. I would also reduce the amount of text in the button to as small as possible. And if I were designing the button, I'd make the "Download" text as H2, as on mozilla.org. :) Summa summarun, that would be: >
> >
>
> download
>
> Stable release (1.1.4)
>
> >
Or: > Download beta release (1.9+) | > > Get on CD
> >
...or something.
