Thanks to both Maarten and Ger for your efforts...my <humble>
opinion...I like the idea of the chick as well but Maarten does kind
of have a point vis a vis the bird and "maturity". My "ideal" would
be something like a chick that looks like s/he is about to take flight
or something. OK, I'll look around as well sometime today, but we need
to publish thing rather soon (probably within the next week) so we
can't spend a LOT of discussion on this. The improtant aspect is that
we need something that visibly looks nice, interesting, and hopefully
enticing. SO maybe the larger more visible bird image would fit this
goal better.
I've just uploaded a version with a younger seagull chick, an image that
Ger send me privately (for which he also had to ask permission). The
transparency is not all good at the left side... I'll remove it in a
future version.
I LOVE this one!

Let's go with this. He's very cute and I think will do the
trick! I DID find *one* pic of a young gull tryng to fly but it
wasn't very good...
About the maturity issue: Concept wise the youngest seagull is best.
Marketing wise it could be used against us when we use an unstable,
young seagull chick.
Frankly, I doubt our audience will get so philosohpical! <G>
We need something appropriate and friendly.
I don't think, however, that the latter is the case
for the latest version I just attached to the issue. Furthermore, this
seagull is younger than eggsopen_v0.5(withgull).gif. I think the latest
update is the best so far (besides for the transparency).
??? confused...what version are you referencing here?
