Finally...this is exactly what i had in mind. Not quite, but almost. ;-) I like your draft, and it is totally heading in the right direction. I see some issues, however... * I think we still need the top bar, the three main buttons should be a little smaller (vertically) and i'd like them more "iconly" than "photoly", but i might actually change my mind about that, since i like your approach. The user needs to know somehow that those things are clickable, though. It's not quite as obvious as i'd like it to be. * The site should NOT be fixed width. * You're on a Mac, aren't you? Yes you are. Why that is an issue? It isn't really. The success of Apples branding work is. ;-) * "Find more" should definately be called something else like "What is OpenOffice.org", "Learn more" or "Find out more" or something. I bet our marketing folks would even like something more like maybe "Meet your Office.", "Get your Office." and "Help your Office." or some such. * Is it just me or has green become the "download" color?
