I usually use em for font units as opposed to points. Usually 1.3 em is
good.

I think the draft looks really good and agree with the changes that
have been suggested.
I also like to see sites that *are not fixed width* or have font
size controls or have CSS controls that place fonts because the
text gets scrambled as the enduser forces the text to get bigger.
When I view a site that has these kinds of controls I tell my
browser to ignore the CSS and just display the text so I can read
it.
I still have not figured out why designers like to set text size to
some small point size. Most people are using a screen resolution
that is at least 1024X768 or higher. Text should be allowed to flow
freely and at whatever size the viewer wants.
I use 1600X1200 on my desktop and 1680X1050 on my laptop. Anything
smaller than 14 point is a PITA for me to read.
