Hi Volker,
from my (ux and interaction design) point of view it is desired to
visually align product (splash + about screens), end user website(s),
and community website(s).
All this is currently very vague. Just the OOo logo is used on several
occasions, and the dark blue color. That's it.
For OOo 3, revamping the community sites and launching an end user site,
we should strive for more common elements and more consistency.
