Actually I think that is a good idea. I believe there is a clear division between visual identity and requirements/basic lay out (what needs to be there in approximatly what size, level of prominence). Some concerns I have, and some seen some others commenting on it as well, is that the designs so far are not all aligned with the current OOo branding. But maybe it is time to revise some of that, but then the best place to discuss that would be at the art mailinglist. I am monitoring the art mailinglist as well, so no problems there. If others object, please react soon. I would suggest creating either an issue and/or a wiki page (wiki is preferred by me), and link the designs from one central place.
