I personally dont like FCKeditor it has many javascript bugs and also adds
a lot of overhead to the overal wiki. Just my opinion.

One possible solution is to use the FCKeditor extension for MediaWiki.
This would provide a nice WYSYIWYG editor environment for creating and
editing Wiki pages.
You can go play in a sandbox here:
http://mediawiki.fckeditor.net/index.php/Sandbox
I've been doing some testing on this extension, and it seems to be
working OK.. with a few notable exceptions:
- once installed it is enabled for all users and must be explicitly
disabled for each user if they do not want to use it (opt-out instead of
opt-in).
- template includes are shown as a {{T}} icon (you can right click on
the icon and a pop-up (if pop-ups are enabled in your browser) will show
you the template call)
- if you click the Preview button when editing in the WYSIWYG editor,
it breaks the page view
Does anyone know of any other WYSIWYG editors for MediaWiki that could
be tested/compared?
