Hello Clayton, Ivan, Alexandro and other wiki-interested people,
I just saw this discussion thread and hope I can join you. I am so
impressed to see how much nicer the OOo wiki is than it was when I left
the community to have my baby three years ago.
Let me introduce myself: I used to be active in the community in
marketing and German native lang, but may be remembered most as the
person in charge of UI text in the German and English versions of the
office suite. Now, however, I would like to offer to help increase the
usability of the wiki. I'm not a web designer, but I could help
coordinate efforts and, of course help proof-read the English-language
wiki to make headings clear and concise, for example.
There is so much information to be found in the wiki but it is not
always easy to find or read, whether it is because things are buried in
obscure places or not formatted in an efficient and eye-friendly way.
Most of all it is important that developer and user content be clearly
offered so each audience can get info more efficiently.
Is there a place where improvement ideas are already being collected?
Maybe a wiki page ;-)
I am not a full-time Sun employee and I do have a very active 3-year-old
to care for, but I may have more time to commit to this project than
others so I hope I can be of help.

Great idea. The current CSS was a major improvement over the default
MedaiWiki skin we were using... tidying up the current CSS is something

Definitely. They should be as much in sync as we can reasonably keep them.

Implementing... we ca either set up things so you can have access to the
Wiki skin directory yourself, or send the changes to me and I can drop
them into the Wiki skin directory.
