Hi all,

I've managed to make the navigation tabs look like they do on the
homepage without having to make them fixed-width. I have tested it in
Opera 9, IE 8, Safari 3 and Firefox 3; it displays the same across all
4 browsers (the current wiki tab design varies in size depending on
the browser). Have a look at (see
http://patentpending.co.nz/openoffice/wiki/Art.htm)

The only problem is a little bug where the left 5 pixels of each tab
activate the left hand side rollover, but not the right hand side
rollover. Since this small area is not clickable, I think this 'bug'
is better than the <li> rollover activating the <a> rollover, as that
would provide false feedback (i.e., the tab should be clickable, but
it isn't). If there was a <span> element within each link in the
navigation, it could be fixed easily, but I'm not sure if that can be
done easily (i.e., without editing mediawiki files that would be
overwritten in the next upgrade).

OK, now I really need your feedback on things like headings, fonts,
etc. Since Alexandro and Clayton have both suggested that the wiki
should look similar to the OOo website, these issues should be
addressed as well. Personally, I would be against having Verdana as
the default wiki font - so should we switch the website from Verdana
to Arial too? What about using Galaxy icons? Are there any other ideas
of how we could improve the wiki through CSS?

Regards,
Ivan.
