I’d like to clarify my concerns with using git as currently configured to
require multi-facet authentication. I’m familiar enough with git that the tool
is not a barrier.

I have a github account that I use for my $job, that doesn’t require MFA. To
use MFA here would change my work flow, which is a non-starter for me. I tried
to set up access via MATT to use this account, which asked me to use MFA.

But, if using github for whimsy simply would take a different github account
specifically for my work on $whimsy, that account could use MFA with no issues.
