I agree that, its a nice idea, if we include XalanJ tests as well from
the src zip/tar distributables. I'm hoping to, modify the XalanJ Ant
build, to implement this suggestion over the next few days.

I believe that, the current XalanJ ant build, is quite a lot
functionally rich, and it may take significant effort to port the
current XalanJ ant build to Maven. May be, we can have the XalanJ
2.7.3 release, with an Ant build along with a modification that src
zip/tar distributables include the tests. The next release after
2.7.3, might have a XalanJ Maven build.
