Reminder: assigning JIRAs

        Just a reminder that the ASF JIRA setup requires that users be added to 
the ‘contributor’ field first. So if you are trying to assign yourself but 
can’t, drop a note here or in the jira or whatever and someone will give you 
the ability to self assign. It’s probably been a while for a lot of you having 
to deal with a new project. :D
