Regarding testing X509AuthenticationProvider, the
org.apache.zookeeper.test.X509AuthTest does not depend on the cnxns at all, so
it can be added as part of (2).
Regarding exception handling: I agree, we should change X509Auth to throw
exceptions rather than catch and return.
