Sorry I've been incommunicado for a bit - work's been crazy busy,
we're moving premises tomorrow, and I've had the flu twice in the
past couple of months, so I haven't had a chance to catch up on some
of the latest developments on the ML...
Alex mentioned this patch after I raised some issues with Kannel
startup performance and memory consumption when the store file became
large, so I should really provide some feedback on how this patch
affects the behaviour I observed (I'm quite optimistic :) If it's not
too late, I can test Alex's patch sometime next week, if my company's
move goes well, or the week afterwards, if it doesn't :P
Stipe - I haven't forgotten about submitting a detailed bug report on
the HTTP max-connections issue, I'll get to it eventually :)

IHO, we need more that "++1 seems to work"
This patch is pretty long and should not be voted with reason "it
seems ok"
We need to compile it, test it, and completely understand what
every lines are doing.
Trivial issues are not affected to this (means less 10 lines of
diffs).
regards
Vincent.
