I can't claim that quote. Such wisdom appeared from Alex directly! :p

They will. Separating means having 2 release tracks:

- stable: that is considered mature for production use.
- devel: that is of "beta" or better quality with new features. As soon as we
feel the devel branch is good to go, we call it "stable" and release.
