I am very sure it doesn't cause problems, it was a typo.

I've connected kannel with over a hundred carriers, and _never_ had problems 
with default smsc, however had a lot of issues with store and forward, so take 
your peek. IMO this change won't affect regular SMS at all, at least in my own 
experience.

However, I agree making it configurable would be better and you're welcome to 
commit a patch for it, but for the time being this could solve a few list posts 
about people having issues with wap push (and regular sms as well, I can tell 
you some carriers have issues with store and forward even for regular sms).
