If you're interested, feel free to add your name to the Members section of the University SIG [2] wiki. I don't see why grad students can't join as well :)
As of now, I don't think there is a set "agenda" for the SIG to focus on. I believe around next week we will focus on figuring out the best way to communicate with one another, and come up with a roadmap. Afaik, the main goal at this point is to make Fedora more accessible and friendly towards students and courses.
