Also please realise that the community can eat only so many changes per release no matter how much you want to otherwise. You can probably get this OR the fs-verity in some future release, but not both in the same release and trying to fight for both is going to mean you get neither. In fact, at a certain point too many changes start making it that any CR with certain names attached will get derailed because people are sure there is some sort of agenda or conspiracy which they have to fight to stop. -- Stephen J Smoogen.
