It looks there is also no communication to all admins about the orphaning event. E.g. when someone presses 'orphan' button on src.fedoraproject.org, this is not really communicated elsewhere.
The person who does that is supposed to announce that. But there is indeed no automatic notification.
However, I don't see that as a real issue here: If the main admin is from your team, and they are leaving the team or orphaning the packages for other reasons, I guess you would know about that happening, right?
