Yes, these changes were added without a system-wide proposal and proper
discussion, so I believe this change needs to be reverted for F43 and a
new proposal created for F44.

This is only possible for new Fedora installations. All existing
installations with /boot=1G may fail when the kernels reach this limit.
Changing partitioning during an upgrade is not an option, as it may
destroy all user data.
