You can also do both. Just only change the underlying implementation going forward for the existing macro. If you really want a new name for it, fine. But I want us to update %gpgverify to avoid mass changes. And keep in mind that when we eventually replace the gpg2 commands with shims to Sequoia, in practice everyone will be switched over regardless of CLI interface.
