Hello all, On Wednesday (2026-08-07) at 14 UTC we will be disabling the existing Pagure SCM requests ticketing system [1].
At the same time, new fedpkg updates will be pushed to testing (and then to stable as soon as they are tested). The existing fedpkg version (1.47) will try to request new packages and branches by opening tickets on the Pagure tracker but these tickets will not be processed. Soon, even opening the tickets will stop working as Pagure becomes read-only. Maintainers must update to the new fedpkg version (1.48) to submit new SCM requests (new branches, new package additions, etc.). For more information about the progress, please see the migration ticket [2]. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to comment in the ticket or reach out to us via the Release Engineering Matrix room. Best regards, Patrik Polakovic Fedora Release Engineering [1] https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests [2] https://forge.fedoraproject.org/releng/tickets/issues/13108 [3] https://matrix.to/#/#releng:fedoraproject.org
