It's a complete tarball of every git tree (not just a checkout). https://src.fedoraproject.org/repo/git-seed-latest.tar.xz I just run fedora-getspecs from https://forge.fedoraproject.org/packaging/fedora-misc-package-utilities > (I'm assuming that the people running src.fedoraproject/rpms and > src.fedorproject.org/repo/pkgs are less than thrilled about creating > thousands of commits, new files, etc. for updating something that > works right now.) You could consider these old format things to be a form of technical debt, and if there's any measurable advantage to converting them, even if it just lets some of our tooling drop code to deal with the old format, then . Making all of 2600 commits over time isn't going to break infrastructure; that's far less than what happens every cycle for a mass rebuild. The question is whether it's worth someone's time. -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
