Yes, the numbers I posted have zero "scientific" value and are simply
crude measurements.

In spite of this fact, I believe that they are enough to demonstrate
that prelink is not resulting in any big gains anymore.

Even if these numbers don't demonstrate that, they should *at least*
make us doubt prelink's relevance. I am going to quote Matthew on this,
"Even though prelink is currently in, the burden of proof should be on
demonstrating its continued usefulness, and the threshold for that
should be be higher than marginal noise. When in doubt, let's go for
smaller and more simple".

"unSPEC" is super easy to run and you are encouraged to get all the
numbers and stats you need.
