Just load the new Flickernoise image. You do not have to update the
BIOS. In fact, you do not even have to flash the new Flickernoise image;
you can simply download (TFTP) and boot it with your current BIOS using
the "netboot" command.

Hmm... so the RTEMS core received some damage (unless it was crashed on
a failed assertion - in this case it shutdowns), as the shell is
supposedly the highest priority task.
