With what little I understand about DMX, it looks good.

I saw termination mentioned as a frequent issue, with some
devices having switchable termination. (In case the cable
already contains a terminator.) There's a scary statement
on http://thedmxwiki.com/definitions/dmx_terminator

"If the addition of a terminator causes problems in your
chain, it is likely down to poor quality DMX Cable."

But I guess we don't want to go into such things and people
should simply use unterminated cables with M1.

The SN75HVD12 data sheet shows a mysterious little NAND gate
between nRE and DE but never mentions what this is supposed
to do. I guess if it was something particularly nasty, we'd
know by now :-)

On MIDI in, I'm surprised by the value of R54. Does it
really have to be only 120 Ohm ? 3.3 V/120 Ohm = 27.5 mA.
That's even above If(avg) = 20 mA from the optocoupler's
Absolute Maximum Ratings. (Page 2.)

The values they suggest on page 6 all are considerably
larger.

Last but not least, the IR sensor. We're cutting it close
to the recommended value of "C1 > 0.1 uF" with C126 = 100 nF,
but I guess nobody is that pedantic :)
